| Location: | Granada, Spain, Spain |
| Description: |
While the streets are narrow and pedestrian traffic flow is plentiful, try running along Spain's oldest street--Elvira. You'll run past Falafel restaurants, vendors and the teterias--small tea shops. If you head down Elvira, follow that street until you the main street that leads to the Alhambra--the last islamic stronghold in Spain. You'll see great vistas, and this route offers plenty of inclines if you're looking for a hill workout. Once you pass the alhambra, you can challenge the hills once again by running on the shoulder of a small highway that leads to Sierra Nevada. |
