Start at the parking lot by the beach on Newport street in Ocean Beach. Run north along Bacon, cross West Point Loma, run through Robb Park, head east on the bicycle trail, north across the San Diego River, past the Marina, west across the Mission Bay bridge, straight to the roller coaster in Mission Beach. Out and back is a bit over six miles, nearly half can be run on grass or dirt, and clean, ocean air is with you the whole way. |
