This run takes you along the western edge of Tampa Bay. I usually start at the corner of 1st St. SE and 5th Ave S by the Bayfront Center. From that corner I head north along 5th Ave S, running between the Bayfront and the little airport. This road turns into Bayshore Drive. If you run all the way to the end of Northshore park and back, it's about 3.5 -4 miles. The side walk goes past a small airport, 2 marinas, and a nice waterfront park. Lots of people use this route for their long runs on Saturday and Sunday mornings. You're rarely alone. |
