This run starts where the popular Kelly Drive ends. Optional starting points exist along the length of Fairmount Park, but wherever you begin - whether it's at the parking lot on Lincoln Drive or at the end of Forbidden Drive in Chestnut Hill, you'll have unlimited options for the type of run you want...on the loose gravel drive, which is fairly flat but wonderfully winding; on the trails that branch of off the drive, which offer challenging hills and require nimble-footed pacing; or a combination of the two. The length of the drive is approximately five miles, but with added trail jaunts, the distance is limitless. |
