my run starts at the beautiful state capital of wisconsin. Madison sits on a isthmus, with Lake Mendota on its west side, and lake monona on the east. i proceed down to the monana terrace on the lake, whick was designed by Frank LLOYD Wright. The next 4 miles are flat while on running on a bike path.The next 2 miles takes one off the lake into the city of Monona. Beatiful rolling hills and lake scenery with a view of the capital are the back-drop. Miles 5- 9 takes one through a flat section of road while continuing in monona. Finally , the last 3 miles are takes us back into Madison with the lake and capital in full view. A perfect training run for a marathon. |
