A great early morning 10 mile run any time during the year is to start at the tennis center at Memorial park, run counter-clockwise until you get to Memorial Drive. Head down Memorial drive toward the 610, then south along the 610 feeder to Post Oak Park. Make the first left onto Post Oak, then an alternating series of rights and lefts and work your way to San Felipe. Head east on San Felipe to Willowick and turn left into River Oaks. Make the first left, follow the road and then turn left again, back onto Willowick. At the "Y" in the road, stay to the left. Continue straight across River Oaks and turn left at Lazy Lane. Meke the next left at Kirby, left onto Shepherd, left back onto Memorial Drive and follow this back into the park.
For added mileage, you can add loops at the park, or head out of the park the "long" way (2 miles instead of one).
