Miles For Hope is holding its 1st annual ýMoving Towards A Cureýý 5K event in Orlando, FL! Come join us on Saturday, February 12, 2011 for a family-friendly day to include a timed 5K RUN/WALK, and a 1M Family Fun Run at Harbor Park on Lake Baldwin! Day of event registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be served. Register in advance at http://mfh.kintera.org/orlando . Fees: 5K Run/Walk $20, 1M Family Fun Run $15 thru 1/29/11. $25/$20 respectively thereafter. Virtual participants welcome! $20 ý includes event t-shirt!*
Miles For Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting brain tumors. The mission at Miles For Hope is to provide funding for cutting edge research and clinical trials, along with raising public awareness. Through our organization, patients can find information on the most advanced treatment options available for brain tumors. We also provide travel assistance to qualifying brain tumor patients throughout the country for more optimal treatments. Each year 200,000 brain tumors are diagnosed in the U.S. That is 3 per second, so, come run or walk with us and help in our quest to increase brain tumor awareness and in ýMoving Towards A Cureý!ý
