Miles For Hope is holding its first annual 5K event in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, December 11, 2010! Moving Towards A Cure Tampa will take place on the certified 5K course at beautiful Al Lopez Park located near Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The event is open to all age groups and includes a timed Walk/Run 5K as well as a 1 Mile Family Fun Run! Fees: $20 thru 12/1/10, $25 thereafter. Day of event registration begins at 7:00am.
Miles For Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting brain cancer. The mission at Miles For Hope is to provide funding for cutting edge research and clinical trials, along with raising public awareness. Through our organization, patients can find information on the latest, most advanced treatment options available for the treatment of brain tumors. We also provide travel assistance to qualifying patients all over the country enrolled in brain tumor clinical trials.
