Description:	Miles For Hope is holding its first annual 5K event in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Moving Towards A Cure Tampa will take place on the certified 5K course at beautiful Al Lopez Park located near Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. This event is open to all age groups and includes a timed Walk/Run 5K as well as a 1 Mile Family Fun Run! All registrants will receive an event t-shirt, finisher medal and complimentary breakfast provided by Panera Bread. Pre-registration for this event is open at www.MilesForHope.org. Check-in and day of event registration begins at 7:00am; 5K begins promptly at 8:00am; Fun Run begins at 8:15am. Event Fees $20 now through 12/1/10; $25 after 12/1/10 through day of event. Miles For Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting the disease of brain cancer. The mission at Miles For Hope is to provide funding for cutting edge research and clinical trials, along with raising public awareness. Through our organization, patients can find information on the latest, most advanced treatment options available for the treatment of brain tumors. We also provide travel assistance to those qualifying patients all over the country enrolled in brain tumor clinical trials.
