RACE FOR WISHES
HOSTED BY THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION® OF NORTH TEXAS
WHO: The Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas
WHAT: The Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas is hosting its annual Race for Wishes in Irving, Texas. The North Texas Chapter is combining its Southwest and Central regions and encouraging both communities to put one foot forward to grant the wishes of children fighting life-threatening medical conditions. Participants of the 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun run/walk will enjoy a day of exercise, breakfast, friendly competition and the opportunity to raise money for children in their communities.
WHEN: Saturday, March 27, 2010
7:00 a.m. Registration begins
8:15 a.m. Pre Race Ceremonies
9:00 a.m. 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and 5K Run/Walk Begins
HOW: Each team or individual can register and get event information online by visiting www.raceforwishes.kintera.org. Participants are able to create an individual or team web page that tracks and collects donations and helps raise funds by emailing friends, family or organizations. All donations must be received no later than 8 a.m. the day of the event. Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the most funds raised.

$10 Kids Registration: Ages 5-12
