The Salmon Marathon was a great experience. The course which begins at a one-room school was scenic to say the least. Mostly run on a dirt road with beautiful vistas throughout the run it had, as a bonus, cowboys and cowgirls dotting the course at various intersections. The water stations were manned by enthusiastic and encouraging volunteers. Stay a few extra days at the Sacajawea Inn for a relaxing recovery and lovely view. |
