This was a wonderful race to be a apart of. Perfect if its your first time to have a go at 26.2miles! The city was full of friendly people, the course was relaxing and beautiful through forests and over rivers (for the most part). There was ample water, gatorade, orange slices, pretzels, cookies, gummy bears, and GU's on the trail. And the best part was Don's (the race director) emails which always made me laugh...And then he was there at the finish line to hug and shake the hand every single runner that crossed that line! It was a wonderful exspirience and I can't wait for next years race! |
