COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Everything about the BSC marathon was just perfect. I did not have extremely high expectations for a first time, small town marathon and was pleasantly surprised at how well organized and planned the entire event was. The support staff was amazing all 26.2 miles - from the volunteers to the police and course marshalls. Even the host hotel (best western) was amazing. I intend to participate in this race every year! | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 Great Marathon. Even if this weren't the first year, I would say that. Parking was super close. My car was about 200 yards from the start finish. Lots of small rolling hills throughout the course really get you. Great aid stations and support. | |

First Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 This was my first marathon to run, and it was an amazing experience. The volunteers did a great job of encouraging the runners and providing water/gatorade/gummy bears, etc. I look forward to doing it again next year! | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 While my marathon experience is limited (only #2 for me), I must say that the organization of this race was phenomenal especially considering it was an inaugural event. From pre-race communication to the community support, from start to finish, there wasn't one aspect of this race that was planned and executed to perfection. I hope this was just the first of many BCS Marathons to come. I'm already registered for next year!! | |

I loved that people came out of their houses to cheer us on and that randomly there were Expel playing guitars and instruments | |

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was a really fun, well organized race. The race director created a fabulous online community that continued to build enthusiasm leading up to the race. The course itself was very nice and had fabulous traffic control and direction of runners. The community came out in force to make this event happen, route us on, provide hydration and medical aide. This was my first 1/2 in five years and it has given me the bug to do another one soon. | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 Great Marathon experience, I've run 52 in the last 5 years and this is one of my favorites. Mile markers every mile, aid stations with people holding signs uo for water or gatorade, porta pottys along the course, plenty of room to run, gentle hills, loved the downhill finish. |
