                      Successful event ready for 2006

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The second annual Pensacola Marathon & Half Marathon will 
be run on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006. 

The race, scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m. in downtown Pensacola, will host 
both runners from around the country and runners from Pensacola as they 
compete along the 26.2 mile USATF (FL-05041DL) certified marathon course, 
designed specifically to highlight the beauty of Pensacola. 

Athletes from Colorado to Rhode Island, and as far away as Canada have 
already confirmed their participation.

In addition, this year’s race will feature a pre-race pasta dinner, race 
expo and post-race extravaganza at Plaza Ferdinand.
