2024 Life Time Miami Marathon Sells Out In Record Fashion
with 18,000 Runners; Waitlist Open October 10-31
Third consecutive sell out for Internationally-renowned event,
Life Time Tropical 5K on Jan. 27
MIAMI, September 16, 2023 - Overwhelming demand for the
Internationally-renowned Life Time Miami Marathon & Half has resulted in
the fastest sellout in race history.
Set for January 28, 2024, event registration closed with 18,000 runners
five weeks earlier than the previous year.
A waitlist will be activated from October 10-31 for those still hoping to
compete. Spots will be made available only if current registered runners
drop out prior to the race. Waitlist registration is available at
www.themiamimarathon.com and notifications will begin November 7.

Run Miami," said Frankie Ruiz, co-founder of the Miami Marathon and Chief
Running Officer at Life Time. "We look forward to making each participants'
day a Miami Famous experience as they run our scenic streets at the party
of the year."
Participants represent all 50 states and nearly 70 countries and will take
on the USTAF-certified, Boston-qualifying, flat course that showcases the
best views of Miami's cityscape and waterways. As one of the most
internationally friendly events in the industry, Life Time personalizes the
race bib of each runner with their home country's flag.

- Life Time Tropical 5K: Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024
- Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Marathon: Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024
- Miami Famous Expo: an industry-leading gathering of vendors, live
entertainment and experiential marketing activations from top health and
wellness brands at Miami Beach Convention Center Jan. 26-27, 2024. The Expo
also features a Diaper Derby on Friday January 26 for our littlest runners
in training.
Training
- Multiple run clubs throughout the Miami area welcome those who are
training for the Life Time Miami Marathon, Half Marathon, and/or Tropical
5K.
Community Involvement
- More than 1,000 students at Miami-area schools will take part in the 2024
Kids Run Miami program, in which they'll run a total of 25 miles over the
course of 15 weeks leading up to the marathon and complete their final 1.2
miles at the race-day finish line. Additionally, a one-mile kids race will
be held for youngsters not part of the Kids Run Miami program.
- More than 80 charities and organizations are partnered with the Life Time
Miami Marathon.
- In 2023, the event generated almost $17M in local economic impact and the
race hosts almost as many International runners (30%) as it does runners
from Dade County (33%).
