            Arkansas Democrat Gazette Renews Title Sponsorship 
                         With Little Rock Marathon
  
LITTLE ROCK, AR (July 26, 2013) - The Little Rock Marathon is proud to 
announce that the Arkansas Democrat Gazette will return as presenting 
sponsor of the 2014 Little Rock Marathon Weekend slated for February 28 - 
March 2, 2014. 

As presenting sponsor, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, Arkansas' largest 
newspaper, will serve as the official media outlet for the race weekend 
information. The newspaper has served as the marathon's presenting sponsor 
since the race's inception in 2003. The Little Rock Marathon is pleased to 
partner with the Arkansas Democrat Gazette to provide an EPIC (this year's 
race theme) event for the 12th Annual Marathon Race Weekend. 

"To be the presenting sponsor of the Little Rock Marathon since the 
beginning is a real honor for us," said Tabitha Cunningham, Promotions and 
Events Director for Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. "Not only does our community 
benefit from the economic boast the marathon brings each year, but we also 
benefit from being a part of a national recognized marathon that brings in 
thousands to our city from all 50 states and many countries. The exposure 
that gives our state is incredible. It is also important for us to report 
on the Little Rock Marathon each year and to list the finishers in the 
newspaper the Monday after the race."

Race Weekend events include the 12th Annual Little Rock Marathon, the 
Little Rock Half Marathon, the Little Rock 10K, the Little Rock 5K Fun 
Run/Walk, the Little Rockers Kids Marathon and the Little Rock Health & 
Fitness Expo.

Registration for the 2014 races will begin August 1, 2013 and is available 
online at www.littlerockmarathon.com through 11:59 PM CST February 21, 2014.
