2012 Little Rock Marathon Registration NOW Open
Another Sellout Expected for 2012
Registration is now open for the 2012 Little Rock Marathon to be held March
2 - 4, 2012. The Little Rock Marathon is presented by the Arkansas
Democrat-Gazette and benefits Little Rock Parks & Recreation.
Weekend events include the Little Rock Marathon, the Little Rock Half
Marathon (presented by Baptist Health), the Little Rock 5K Fun Run/Walk,
Little Rockers Kids Marathon (presented by Arkansas Childrens Hospital) and
the Little Rock Health & Fitness Expo.
A 10K race, to celebrate the Little Rock Marathon's tenth year, will
replace the Little Rock Relay Marathon. A 10K is 6.2 miles.
Registration for the Little Rockers Kids Marathon will open September 1,
2011.
Official training for the 2012 races begins in late September with an
expanded training schedule. A "build-up" training program will begin in
early August.
The 2011 race (held earlier this year in March) was a success with a 7.2%
increase in participation with more than 16,000 participants in the various
training programs and races according race officials.
Registration is available online through 11:59 PM CST February 24, 2012.

Mail in registration forms are available on the registration page of the
website or by calling race headquarters at 501.371.4770. Mail-in
registration forms must be postmarked by February 24, 2012.
If the race is not sold out, registration will resume at the Little Rock
Marathon Health & Fitness Expo at the Statehouse Convention Center race
weekend.
