              Little Rock Marathon Training Meeting January 6

WHAT:   Little Rock Parks and Recreation is hosting informational meeting 
to discuss its free running/walking training programs associated with the 
Little Rock Marathon. The Little Rock Marathon Training Program is 
presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors and KARK Channel 4.

TOPIC:  Mental Preparation and Injury Prevention
WHEN:   January 6, 2011 – 6 pm

BACKGROUND:
The 9th running of the Little Rock Marathon will take place March 6, 2011.  
To prepare prospective participants, the Little Rock Marathon offers a free 
training program.  Registration for the training program is required and is 
available at www.littlerockmarathon.com.  

RRCA Certified Coaches Hobbit and Tom Singleton of Maumelle have overseen 
the training of more than 24,200 adults and children since inception (May, 
2003).    

The 2011 Little Rock Marathon and companion races are sponsored in part by
