Registration Opens Back Up This Weekend
For Little Rock Marathon and Companion Races
Registration Available at Health & Fitness Show/Expo Only

LITTLE ROCK, AR (February 28, 2005) -- Registration for the third annual
Little Rock Marathon and companion races is still available at the event's
Health & Fitness Show/Expo Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5 at the
Robinson Center Exhibit Hall, 426 W. Markham. Race organizers anticipate
filling the remaining entries at the "expo" and are encouraging all
interested runners and walkers who have not entered to come early. Online
registration has closed and there is no race day registration, therefore
the expo is the sole avenue for race entry.

Registration at the expo will be $85 for the marathon, $65 for the half
marathon, $55 per person for the relay marathon, $35 for the 5K fun run,
and $15 for the Little Rockers Kids Marathon. The race will be limited to
the first 6,000 participants.

The Little Rock Marathon Health & Fitness Show/Expo is free and open to the
public. All participants must pick up their race number, timing chip,
T-shirt and goodie bags there. Visitors will find over 60 exhibitors
sampling and selling the latest in health and nutrition products, running
gear and much more.

The Little Rock Marathon offers a new, scenic course that runs through
historic neighborhoods, internationally know landmarks and finishes in the
shadow of Arkansas' State Capital. In addition to more than 20
entertainment stops along the courses, 17 themed water stops add to the
festivities of race day. All registered race participants and volunteers
receive a free ticket to the post-race concert that evening at Historic
Arkansas Museum, featuring the Greasy Greens.
