(IAAF) Kenneth Mungara and defending champion Natalya Yulamanova braved warm temperatures to win the 2008 Prague Marathon. Mungara won in a 2:11:06 followed by Eliah Sang in 2:12:15 and Simon Njoroge Kariuki in 2:13:24, second and third respectively. Yulamanova won the women's race in 2:31:43.

Spring Marathon Season Comes to Close in Prague on Sunday
(Race Results Weekly) The 2008 Prague International Marathon is expecting over five thousand runners for the full marathon with an additional seven thousand in companion events, including an in-line skate. Heading the men's elite field are David Makori Omiti, who has a personal best time of 2:08:49 from Venice in 2002, Benjamin Pseret, winner of the Treviso Marathon last year in a personal best 2:10:18 and Kenneth Mungara, who ran 2:17:38 at high altitude in Nairobi in 2006.
