		Kirwa takes commanding victory at Padua Marathon (IAAF) Francis Kirwa of Finland won the 2008 Padua Marathon unopposed in a 2:11:00 qualifying for the Olympic Games in Beijing. Alberico Di Cecco was second in 2:13:09 and Haron Toroitich was third in 2:13:24. The womens race went to Italian Marcella Mancini in 2:35:24.

		One Second Splits First Two in Padua Marathon (IAAF) Kenyan Paul Kipkimei Kogo, who started as a pacemaker, won the eighth edition of the SantAntonio Marathon from Vedelago to Padua equalling the 2:10:38 course record held by Ethiopian David Trfe since 2003.

		Kenyan wins Italy's St. Anthony's Marathon (Nando Sports Server) Kenyan Gideon Chirchir won the St. Anthony Marathon in Italy this weekend, posting a 2:11:51 finish. He was more than a minute ahead of the No. 2 finisher, last year's champ Migidio Bourifa.
