Aabenraa Mountain Marathon - Race Reviews

This was the 13th marathon I ran, but only the second 'mountainmarathon'. It was not a real mountain marathon like the Swiss Alpine Marathon, but there were many more ups and downs in a higher frequency. This kind of marathon asks more of the human body and certainly the last two kilometers where the road goes straight down and the legs are not really responding any more. The organization was very good prepared. Only one thing, the real supporters were in fact the organizers and not the specators along the road (but that is not the responsibilty of the organization). Aabenraa is a very nice, quiet and clean town, really nice to visit and to stay for a few days.
