Jersey Marathon - Race Reviews

Friend used to maintain that this was a difficult course relative to London and upon running it, his words were far from true. A pleasant and undemanding course with some lovely island scenery, recommended for beginners and should be an easy 4-4.5 hrs run

The Jersey Marathon is a relatively "easy" marathon course (that is, there aren't that many hills) with a good variety of the island's scenery. I do wish we could have run a bit more along the coast, though. Given the small size of the marathon, the crowd support was fantastic, especially given the temperamental weather of this year's run. And there were plenty of drink stations that were well-supplied with both water and isotonic throughout the race. If you ever fancy a nice run through the Jersey countryside, this marathon is for you. This marathon was my best time too!
