you must do this at least once in your life
A fantastic marathon run by the local people of Tresco. The course is quite tough and consists of 7.5 laps of the island with 3 hills per lap. The scenery is fantastic, with excellent views of the surrounding islands as you run around the course. There are plenty of water/feeding stations around the course. The support during the race from locals and supporting families and friends is second to none. The medal presentation in the village hall is a very personal touch that makes Tresco special. A spectacular post-race buffet put on by the local chefs is not to be missed. A truly memorable marathon that should be done by every runner at least once.

Testing course on scenic, traffic-free island
Excellent support with pre and post massage, and champagne buffet medal ceremony to finish. Small restricted field of 125, and runners have to raise a set sponsorship amount for cystic fibrosis. Cannot fault the organization; definitely one to do....

Great fun, loved it.
Excellent day. The organization was brilliant, the course was tough but a challenge, and the other runners were very generous with their comments and encouragement. Thoroughly enjoyed the day; one of the best I have had. Thank you.
