Lake County Marathon - Race Reviews

had a great time

(Ran in '97.) A fairly well-organized race with an unusual start and course where 10K and half marathon runners started with us and dropped off along point-to-point course. Course covered essentially entire socioeconomic spectrum of greater Chicago. It was a great regional alternative to jam-packed Chicago Marathon. I hope locals will develop another area springtime marathon.
