Lyon Marathon - Race Reviews

Flat course, small by size (under 1,000 in the marathon plus around 2,000 people in 10K and 1/2 marathon). The first 4 miles were somewhat confusing when the course took runners several times around the central square and one had to be careful to follow the signs for his race. After that it was really nice run through the park and along the banks of river Rhone. No problem with the water and sports drinks; enthusiastic but small crowds were very supportive. One bummer: no pasta party in the gourmet capital of France!?
