A must-do marathon for first-timers
I can truly say that I am a marathoner now. What an awesome race and experience. My words cannot do justice to the experience, organization and support along the way. This was my first of hopefully many more marathons and I will try to be back next year to run this race again. The cold, etc. is all part of this race, which makes it so unique; and the scenery is fantastic. Be aware though of the deadly downhills.... Well done to the organizers, marshals and water points, and all of those involved in staging the race.

Nice race for the fit.
It was once again an amazing experience. No rain, no wind, and perfect temperatures later on. You have to take warm clothing to the start, and watch your footing the whole way. Not your average 42. Come prepared!

A magical experience
A well organized race, with friendly marshals and water-point "staff." A beautiful and exciting route. A MUST on every runner's "races to run" list.

fantastic run
I ran the Knysna Half for the first time. It was a truly excellent course, well organized and supported. I'll be there in 2006 for sure. If I had to make any criticism I'd have to say that toilet facilities at the start need to be upgraded. What is it with runners and their loose bowels anyway?

great race
Superb -- nothing negative -- it was just great -- maybe a better TV afterwards for the rugby

Fantastic run - great scenery
I ran the Knysna Half Marathon for the first time and just want to express what a great experience it was, from the early morning start around the fires to the finish at the stadium. Superb organization and friendly atmoshphere. I'm there next year for sure.
