This race is the Highest Road Marathon in America.  The starting line is at 9,200 feet, the route peaks out at 9,600 feet, and the finish line is at 8,550 feet.  It is on the Gravelly Range Road in the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest in Southwest Montana.
