Last weekends Prince of Wales Marathon was won by Jonathan Kreiss-Tompkins with a time of 3 hours 1 minute and 40 seconds.

The Prince of Wales Island had population boost over the weekend as roughly three-hundred people showed up to run the twenty-six point two mile race.  Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins won the race with a time of 3 hours 1 minute and 40 seconds.

Douglas runner breaks mark set by brother-in-law

Kyle Hebert of Douglas broke the course record in the Fifth Annual Prince of Wales International Marathon held Saturday on Prince of Wales Island.

And he kept the mark in the family.

Hebert won Saturday's 26.2-mile marathon in 2 hours, 59 minutes, 30 seconds to break by just eight seconds the record set last year by his brother-in-law, Aaron Prussian of Thorne Bay.
