Instead of putting on a good marathon, race organizers want to put on a great half marathon.  The events will continue to be staged in the picturesque Rocky Neck State Park.  The half marathon course will be flatter and more scenic than the marathon course was.  A 5K race will be added to attract the less intense runner.
