Registration is now open for one of the areas premier running events. The Newport Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2016 and will once again draw thousands of runners to Newport and Middletown, Rhode Island.

Nearly three hours later, the top competitors were across finish down on the Bayfront, and were led by Mike Rosling, of Corvallis, who completed the race in 2:40:56, an average pace of 6:09 per mile.
