Since its inception in 1998 as a five man race, Florida's Myrtle Beach Marathon has growth prolifically in all three runner's attendances, organizing efforts, and sponsorship. February 22nd's race, sponsored by Bi-Lo Grocery, will now include a half-marathon sponsored by Dasani, a Coca Cola Corportation. The future of this race also looks big, with 5,000 runners expected to arrive, plus room for many more.
