The 112th Running of the Boston Marathon. With 111 years of prior history, there is more to write about this race than any other in the world. This is the race that “real” marathoners try to qualify for and run at least once in their life. This is a race that Elite marathoners want to add to their list of victories. What a race – and each year is wonderful.

Fortunately, others are writing about the Boston Marathon – present and past. Here are links to Press Releases and News Articles – not written by us, but at least we’ve found these for you…Boston Marathon Press Releases |
Read All About It… |
The Boston Marathon is, arguably, the most storied of all marathons. We know that phrase doesn’t necessarily mean there have been a lot of books written about Boston, but there have been. Here is a selection of currently available books – for adults, children, even some works of fiction….Boston Marathon Books |
Past Years… |
MarathonGuide.com launched in March 2000 and each year since 2001 we’ve been at the Boston Marathon covering the event. With so many athletes returning each year, past races often provide insights into the current year’s events and personalities. At what mile do the runners typically make their moves? Which runners have been successful with an early breakaway and which have failed? The answers to these and many other questions can be found in the past years’ races.
