CRRG Events Selected To Take Over The Management Of Two Running Events
Group Will Help Enhance the Runner Experience, Growth and Promotion to
Events in Danville, Indiana and Whitefish, Montana
CARMEL, Ind. (May 16, 2018) - CRRG Events, an event management and
production company located in Carmel, Indiana, has been selected to take
over the management of two signature races for their respective
communities. Beginning in 2018, CRRG Events will manage all aspects of
marketing, promotion and production of the Fair on the Square Half Marathon
and 5K (formerly the Hendricks County Half Marathon), located in Danville,
Indiana and the Two Bear Marathon and Half Marathon, located in Whitefish,
Montana.
With a lineup of already successful running events, including the Carmel
Marathon Weekend, now one of the top 100 marathons in the U.S., and the
Indy Women's Half Marathon and 5K, the largest women's half marathon in
Indiana and 7th largest women's-only half marathon in the U.S., CRRG Events
is poised to bring a heightened level of attention and success to two
established races.

Now in its seventh year, the Fair on the Square Half Marathon and 5K takes
place on September 8, 2018 and is part of the popular Fair on the Square, a
two-day festival in Danville that includes artists, food vendors and
entertainment. New for 2018, all finishers will be treated to fair food
(slushes, kettle corn and more) at the finish line, the Quaff On Beer
Garden and most importantly, a free ferris wheel ride positioned at the
finish line!
"Through the support of Hendricks Regional Health, we are already seeing a
spike in interest in the Fair on the Square races," said Oliver. "Making it
fun just enhances the positive benefits that running events can have on a
community."
The Two Bear Marathon and Half Marathon, held on Sunday, September 16, is a
race that runs along the edges of the beautiful Glacier National Park. The
race course offers participants amazing mountain and lake views as runners
leave from the town center of Whitefish and explore a new all-road course
along the edges of one of the country's most magnificent landmarks.
Organizers of the Two Bear Marathon have enlisted CRRG to expand the race
and help bring national visibility to this unique running event.
"The Two Bear Marathon had to be postponed in 2017 due to the California
wild fires so we are focusing on getting it back on runners' radars," said
Oliver. "2018 will showcase a new faster course using streets instead of
trails. Now, not only will the event be a destination race, it is a Boston
Qualifier as well!"
