San Diego County Runners Wanted for Foot Locker County Challenge
at 10th Anniversary Rock 'n' Roll Marathon
Foot Locker offers prize package to "middle-of-the-pack" runners

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (April 19, 2007) - Foot Locker has begun its search for
six marathon runners from San Diego County to compete in the Foot Locker
County Challenge presented by Sugoi at the 10th anniversary annual Rock 'n'
Roll Marathon on June 3, 2007.

Known as the "race within the race," The Foot Locker County Challenge is a
unique program in which local Rock 'n' Roll Marathon runners, three men and
three women, are selected to represent their communities within San Diego
County at the race. The group of six will run the first half of the marathon
as a team. At the 13-mile mark, each member of the team is free to break
away from the pack, and the participant who finishes the marathon in the
fastest time captures the title of Foot Locker County Challenge Champion.

The winner of the Foot Locker County Challenge will receive a prize package
including a two-night at one of San Diego's finest hotels and an exclusive
trophy from Tiffany & Co. All six participants in the Foot Locker County
Challenge will receive VIP treatment throughout race weekend and will also
receive exclusive Foot Locker County Challenge uniforms courtesy of Sugoi.

Registered runners living within San Diego County who expect to finish the
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in an estimated time of 3:45:00 and 4:00:00 hours are
eligible to complete a questionnaire about their running experiences and
explain why they should be chosen to represent their community. Once the
questionnaires are reviewed, a select group of applicants are interviewed
via phone and in-person by a panel of Foot Locker and Elite Racing
representatives.

Eligible applicants can register online at www.RnRmarathon.com. The deadline
for applications is April 30, 2007.

The athletes will be introduced at an official Rock 'n' Roll Marathon press
conference on Thursday, May 31, 2007. Participants will be featured on the
regional broadcast of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon television show.

Rock 'n' Roll Registration Update
Now is the time to register for the 10th anniversary Rock 'n' Roll Marathon
for $90 before the price increases to $100 on April 20, 2007 at 11:59 p.m.
The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon is set to race through the streets of San Diego
on Sunday, June 3 and online registration will close on May 25.
