Press Release - Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon - 12/24/14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon Adds Age Division Prize Money

CANTON, Ohio (December 24th, 2014) - The Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon
will offer prize money for those who establish age division records in the
Marathon and the Half Marathon events that take place on Sunday, April 26,
2015 beginning at 7 a.m.

The inaugural event in 2014 set all of the baseline age group records for
the Marathon and Half Marathon. Therefore, in 2015, all participants are
eligible to compete for the prize money and $100 will be awarded to those
who establish new event records in each age group. Current age group
records can be viewed on the Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon website.

"Our intention is to recognize and reward runners who are no longer
contending for the overall placements but are still running great times in
their age groups," said Jim Chaney, Executive Director. "The competitive
spirit does not end once you leave college and we hope this provides a
platform for strong competition regardless of age."

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon, Half Marathon, and Team Relay will
take place Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 7 a.m., starting and ending at the Pro
Football Hall of Fame. Registration is ahead of pace and race organizers
are expecting both events to reach their caps by March of 2015. Hopeful
participants are encouraged to register early at www.hofmarathon.com.
