     Statement From New York Road Runners On Resolution of Federal 
                       Government Shutdown:

"With the resolution of the federal government shutdown, the 2013 ING New 
York City Marathon staging area will remain unchanged. Runners will 
assemble at Fort Wadsworth and start the race at the Verrazano-Narrows 
Bridge, as always. We thank our city, state and federal partners, as well 
as the entire Staten Island community, for their partnership and look 
forward to a great race for our City."
