              Mother Road Marathon Announces New Website

JOPLIN, MO - The second annual Mother Road Marathon is pleased to announce 
the launch of the official race website www.runmrm.com and the opening of 
registration for the full & half marathons and 5k run! Runners can log on 
to the marathon website to get race information and register to run or they 
can register through www.active.com by searching "Mother Road Marathon." 

Registration for all Mother Road races will be open until October 6th. 
Entry fees for the full marathon start at $60; half marathon at $50 and the 
5K at $25.  Rates will increase beginning June 15th so runners are 
encouraged to register early.

Updates and information will continue to be added daily to the new website 
as more details are confirmed.  Those interested in keeping up with race 
information and announcements are also encouraged to join the Mother Road 
Marathon's Facebook page at Facebook.com/RunMotherRoadMarathon.

The Mother Road Marathon offers a unique course to the runner; with over 
80% of the course run on historic Route 66, it is the only race in the 
country that will allow runners to cross three states along the famed 
highway. The planning committee that oversees the organization and 
production of the race is comprised of members from all of the communities 
along the route along with representatives from area law enforcement
