Once Week Until the 2012 Mississauga Marathon Race Weekend

Mississauga, Ontario – There is one week left until the 2012 Mississauga
Marathon Race Weekend festivities begin! Running events include the
Starbucks Coffee Hazel 5K, Valeant Pharmaceuticals 10K and 10K Student
Relay taking place the evening of Saturday, May 5th. Also taking place on
Saturday evening is the Pasta Dinner at the Novotel Toronto Mississauga
Centre which will begin at 6:00 PM with space still available. The
Marathon, Petrillo Law Corporate/Team Relay, Half Marathon and the 2K Fun
Run/Walk take place on Sunday, May 6th.

Race Weekend will bring 30,000 running fans to the Port Credit Memorial
Arena for the Mississauga Marathon Runner's Expo taking place on Friday,
May 4th from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 5th from 10:00 AM to
5:00 PM. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to check out
the vendor displays. After race kit pick up, participants will have
exclusive access to many discounts at Port Credit businesses with the
presentation of their race bib. All participating stores can be found on
the Mississauga Marathon website.

Online registration is open until Wednesday, May 2nd at midnight for all
individual running events. Course Marshal Volunteers are still needed to
assist along the route on Sunday, May 6th.
