Press Release - Memorial Day Marathon - 2/12/15

               Numbers are up! Registration Continues to Rise!
 
The Memorial Day Races are returning to the Tanglewood Grounds in Lenox, MA 
throughout Memorial Day Weekend. Seven road races, including the 55-mile 
Dirt Road Bike Ride will take place over the course of May 23 - 24, 2015.   
Registration numbers continue to grow off of last year's numbers as we 
expect an increase in the Marathon and the Dirt Road Ride specifically.
 
The Memorial Day Races will be followed by an expanded SummerSound Live @ 
Tanglewood. A two day Music Festival featuring eight bands and free to all 
registrants! Information on the concert as well as music only tickets are

"We are especially excited about this year's event due to the fact that 
live music will be a part of both days.  The opportunity to run or ride in 
the beautiful Berkshires and then hear great music both days at a historic 
venue will make it truly a weekend event," said event organizer Matt 
Linick.
 
The 6th Annual Memorial Day Races will take place on May 24-25, 2014, 
starting and finishing at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA.  The races will feature 
the Memorial Day Marathon, known as "The Toughest Marathon in the East", 
The MDR Half Marathon, The Tanglewood 10K/5K, The MDR 15K Trail Race, The 
MDR Kids Run, and the Memorial Day Dirt Road Ride.  A portion of the 
proceeds will benefit Soldier On and Team Red White & Blue.  Additional
