                 2010 Marsh Nelson Media Award Announced
  
(Duluth, Minn.) Grandma's Marathon has announced Dave Jensch as the 
recipient of the 2010 Marsh Nelson Media Award. 

Jensch is vice president and station manager at the Northland's NewsCenter. 
He has been involved with Grandma's Marathon and its accompanying events 
for more than 30 years.

Jensch will receive the award at the 11th annual Marsh Nelson Media 
Luncheon and Award Ceremony on Friday, June 18, in the Lake Superior 
Ballroom at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).

The award is given annually to a media representative to recognize his or 
her commitment to the coverage and development of Grandma's Marathon. This 
special award is named in memory of former KDLH-TV sports director Marsh 
Nelson for his tremendous passion for covering Grandma's Marathon and other 
local athletic events.
