          Bob Potts Heritage Rail Trail Marathon - May 31, 2009 
                           Field is Filling Fast

Entries for the Bob Potts Heritage Rail Trail Marathon in York, PA are 
filling fast. This marathon, the first to start and finish in York, PA, 
will be run on May 31, 2009. The race is in remembrance of local running 
icon, Bob Potts. Bob was one of the founding members of the York Road 
Runners Club in 1976. He passed away over two years ago while participating 
in a triathlon.

This marathon begins at the Grumbacher Center on the campus of York 
College. After about one mile on the roads of York City and Spring Garden 
Township, the course travels out and back on the beautiful York Heritage 
Rail Trail. There will be a water stop competition, so be prepared for a 
festive atmosphere along the route.

This is a fast and flat course, great for first time marathon runners or 
competitive athletes seeking a personal best. Each finisher will receive a 
finisher's medal, and there will be unique awards for age group winners. 
Also, all marathon runners will get a technical running shirt to 
commemorate this inaugural event.

The field is limited to 400 runners, so if you want to be a part of this
