Marathon Set To Be Another Record Breaker
With just under a month to go to race day, the 2011 Deep RiverRock Belfast
City Marathon is shaping up to be the biggest in the event's 30 year
history.
So far, around 16,000 people have signed up for the May Day extravaganza –
with organizers confident of breaking the 20,000 barrier when entries close
next Friday (15 April).
More than 3000 runners will be taking part in the main Marathon: they will
be joined by more than 9000 relay runners, 2200 walkers and 1400 fun
runners.

The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is also sponsored by ASICS

The 2011 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is organised by Belfast City

Council, the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Sustrans and Translink.
The official charities for 2011 are Macmillan Cancer Support and Transplant
Sport UK.
