Press Release - Atlanta Marathon - Atlanta Track Club - 2/5/14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Atlanta Track Club Names Rich Kenah as New Executive Director

Atlanta Track Club announced today that Olympian and two-time World
Championship bronze medalist Rich Kenah has been named the new executive
director of the organization. In addition to his nine year professional
running career, Kenah brings nearly two decades of experience in events and
sports marketing. He comes to Atlanta Track Club from Global Athletics and
Marketing, Inc. and will transition into his new role on Monday, February
24.

Kenah earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from
Georgetown University, with a major in International Marketing. He started
his professional career as marketing manager for Falk Associates Management
Enterprises, a sports marketing firm that specializes in representing NBA
athletes. He went on to become vice president of events and marketing at
Global Athletics and Marketing, Inc. The Boston-based firm is recognized as
an industry leader in managing Olympic athletes and televised running
events.

"Rich is a proven leader in our sport. His passion for running and his
abiding commitment to promote health and fitness through engagement in our
sport uniquely qualifies him to lead the Atlanta Track Club in its mission
to serve our members and our community," said Bill Duffey, chairman of the
board for Atlanta Track Club.

During his professional running career, Kenah competed at the highest
national and international levels in the 800M and 1500M events. He
represented the United States at four IAAF World Indoor and Outdoor
Championships, winning two bronze medals at the 1997 events. He went on to
place second in the 800M event for the 2000 Olympic Trials, earning him a
spot to compete in the 2000 Olympic Games held in Sydney, Australia.

"Running has been a constant in my life since I participated in my first
race at the age of six,” said Kenah. "I am thrilled to join the Atlanta
Track Club as it celebrates 50 years and look forward to being part of a
team of people whose mission it is to excite, encourage and inspire others
to better fitness through running and walking."

Kenah was selected after a comprehensive search led by the search firm
Russell Reynolds Associates and a special committee comprised of members of
Atlanta Track Club's board and the organization's other advisory
committees.
