Very Nice Race and City
This race was very well organized and had some nice variety to where the course went. Packet pick up was easy and the start and finish lines very convenient to each other. The portion that was on roads was on roads that were completely closed to traffic which was fantastic. The section through the living museum and on the boardwalk along the sea was very nice. The uphill finish on cobblestone was tough, but a pretty short stretch and a good call to include part of the old city. The aid stations were well stocked and spaced out well. The crowd support varied from good in easy to get to locations to non-existent in some areas. At least in a couple of the spots where there were less spectators, the course looped back so you could at least see the runners ahead or behind you. Overall a very nice marathon.

Well organised with pb potential
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this marathon was organised. The start and finish are both at Freedom square and were both efficiently run. The one loop course was flat with one minor incline and a slightly up hill finish on cobbles. The course is quite interesting partly through a forest, the coast and city centre. There were plenty of drinks stations with some also having energy gels. Tallinn is well worth a visit and if you run the marathon there is personal best potential.

Decent course, fair quality
Run this marathon in 2015, liked it overall. As others mentioned, it has two loops - yes, that's not that exciting. However, a good part of the course is along the waterfront - if you like the sea views with ships coming in and out of the port, that can be your thing. Especially if the weather is favourable, as it was this time around. But I recognize though it can be a bit of a problem on a windy day due to the very open terrain for the large part. Refreshment stations were ok, with water, sport drink, gels and bananas provided. Support was fairly sparse for large parts of the course due to its location. End of the loop had a bit of a climb, but manageable. Foil blankets were provided. Overall, a decent marathon to add to the list, especially for those within easy geographical reach.
