Madeline Island Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on May 17, 2025.
We recommend that all runners arrive on the&nbsp;island on Friday, May 16, 2025 and stay for the weekend. Click&nbsp;<a href="http://www.madelineisland.com/eat-drink-stay-awhile/lodging-on-the-island/">HERE</a>&nbsp;for Madeline Island lodging options. 
Lodging is also available in <a href="https://www.bayfield.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bayfield</a>&nbsp;and there will be ferries on race morning (ferry is always *weather permitting*). More info on lodging and ferry service on our RUN page. 
Registration for the 2025 races will be limited to 150 in the full and 350 in the half. We expect both races to fill to capacity. Courses are a loop (start/finish at the same location) with one section of out and back in each race. 
Courses are mostly pavement with a section of packed gravel road in each race. The courses are both USATF certified and the full marathon is a Boston Qualifier.&nbsp;
