 "Fantastic aid stations, spectators, amusemt, eats!" (about: 2018)

| 1 Yokohama Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 It was about 60° at the start and partly cloudy.! Was 70° and sunny at end. Race was quite congested for first several miles. I was able sneak through the throngs if runners to quickly snatch some of the wide assortment of Japanese snacks at aid stations. The fish cake was pretty good, raisins were plentiful, brownie delish, and the umeboshi had good salt context. Enjoyed the assortment of amusement such as bands, dancers, and taiko drummers. Not much post race food except delicious grape tomatoes. |
