I am halfway to my quest of hitting all 50 states. I was able to make Rhode Island work into my schedule and I am glad that I did. The course was not the most exciting and was a tad confusing at first. However, all fell into place nicely. It was great to see folks that I have met across the country at various races. Henry from WI, Paula and Steve from 50 States, Lisa from SC, and of course Marathon Larry. What a great and fun way to spend the day. It was well organized and I never lacked for anything during the race. It was a good thing, because I had a faulty pack of nip guards and no big deal as I was able to visit the car on a few occasions. I highly recommend the Mainly Marathon operation and I fully expect to participate in future events.
