The Marathon Course begins at the Teton Dam Site in Teton, Idaho at an elevation of 5380'.  The first 15 miles are slightly downhill, with an elevation loss of approximately 500 feet.  The next 3 miles are uphill to an elevation of 5240', thus regaining 360'.  The remaining miles then descend to the finish line at Smith Park in Rexburg, Idaho at an elevation of 4850'.
