Registration Opens November 1, 2012 for the
KeyBank Vermont City Marathon?s 25th Birthday Bash

(Burlington, VT): Registration for the largest running event in Northern
New England opens on Thursday, November 1, at 6 am EST. The Burlington,
Vermont-based KeyBank Vermont City Marathon and Relay frequently sells out,
with 3600 marathoners and 4500 relay runners participating. The 2013 event
marks the 25th anniversary of the marathon.
According to RunVermont Executive Director Peter Delaney, the attendance of
several running legends will make this year's anniversary event special.
"We're looking forward to making this year one to remember." said Delaney.
"We'll be joined by Runner's World Chief Running Officer Bart Yasso and
1972 Olympian Jeff Galloway." Additional surprises are planned and will be
announced throughout the registration and training period.
The 2013 event is scheduled for Sunday, May 26, 2013. Registration and
full details are offered online at www.RunVCM.org. Marathoners who
register early enjoy a discounted fee of $85 and a bonus subscription to
Runners World. Registration for the relay lottery opens January 1, 2013.
